Mayor’s Office Fellowship Program

We have news of an exciting opportunity for graduate students:

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY:  
MAYOR’S OFFICE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM – Summer 2017
Are you interested in a fellowship that addresses urban issues and public policy and programs? Come to an orientation meeting with representatives from the Mayor’s Office on Thursday 27 October from 4:00 – 5:30 in the Dublin Room, 16th floor, School of Public Service, 14 East Jackson Blvd. Chicago.

This is an 11 week program which focuses on public safety, public education, sustainability, economic development and job creation, and fiscal matters. The Fellows will work on different data and qualitative analysis and will visit local neighborhoods.  They will visit  O’Hare, Water/Sanitation, Office of Energy, After School Matters, Millennium Park, and the Chicago Police Department/Training Academy. Fellows will also meet weekly with the Department Heads and Commissioners.

Any graduate student who is interested in public policy, public service, civic business, law, etc. should come to the orientation meeting on October 27th.
