Open House Chicago

Here is a photo I took of the Women’s Lounge at Union Station during the 2014 Open House Chicago. The location is on the list again this year.

Have you ever looked at an architectural marvel in Chicago and wished you could see inside? Is access limited? Perhaps you, like many of us, aren’t even aware that little hidden gems are tucked away into seemingly nondescript buildings in mundane places.

If this got you wondering, Open House Chicago is probably a great fit for you. From October 15-16, 200 of Chicago’s most famous (and lesser known) structures open their doors and give you all-access free of charge to architectural masterpieceswhether that means entering an otherwise off limits room for a day or discovering something that has always been in plain sight.

Check out the Open House Chicago website for the list of sites for 2016’s Open House Chicago!
