“[P]oints of connection strengthen learning agility—the ability to learn from experience and then apply that learning to new situations—as well as enhance collaboration and integration, reduces the chance of single points of failure.” — Jan Rybeck, Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting
Jan Rybeck of Korn/Ferry reflects on the importance of flexibility and adaptation in the workplace. She uses the example of spandex as a fabric made of malleable, interconnected links and loops to demonstrate the importance of connection-making processes. Workplaces have an increasing need for employees who can make astute and nuanced connections. Her blog post reflects interdisciplinary skillsets developed by programs like IDS.

As a culmination of her time in the MA program, her work reflected her critical thinking, while introducing audiences to her astute and plentiful encounters abroad. We wish Vesna the best of luck with her future endeavors. Please feel free to check out photos from the event (see gallery bellow).
